Joint Replacement Wait Times

This indicator provides the percentage of patients in a province who received planned total joint replacements within 26 weeks (182 days) from the date they were ready to be treated.

Knee Replacement Rate

This indicator measures the age-standardized hospitalization rate for all knee replacement procedures performed in acute care hospitals or same-day surgery facilities per 100,000 population age 18 and older.

Living Donor Length of Stay

The median number of days between admission and discharge for living organ donation

Low Birth Weight Rate

This indicator provides the low birth weight rate (<2,500 grams, excluding <500 grams).

Low-Risk Caesarean Sections

This indicator measures the rate of deliveries via Caesarean section (C-section) among singleton term cephalic pregnancies for low-risk nulliparous women in spontaneous labour.

Obstetric Trauma (With Instrument)

This indicator measures the rate of obstetric trauma (lacerations that are third degree or greater in severity) for instrument-assisted vaginal deliveries.
