Bio
As director of Health Workforce Information, Natalie Damiano is accountable for the strategic leadership and stakeholder relationships needed to execute all initiatives and activities related to the planning, development and maintenance of CIHI’s Health Workforce Information data standards, data holdings, information products and forecasting systems.
Over her 20-year career at CIHI, Ms. Damiano has held several senior positions, most recently as the director of Specialized Care, leading all initiatives and activities related to CIHI’s long-term care, home care, hospital mental health and rehabilitation data standards and systems. Prior to joining CIHI, she worked in the hospital rehabilitation and continuing care sectors as a clinical leader, educator, researcher and front-line clinician. A registered physiotherapist, Ms. Damiano holds a Master of Science from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University.
