Epidural Rate for Vaginal Deliveries

This indicator provides contextual information on obstetrical services and provides the crude epidural rate for vaginal deliveries across Canada.

Experiencing Pain in Long-Term Care

This indicator provides the percentage of long-term care residents with pain.

Falls in the Last 30 Days in Long-Term Care

This indicator provides the percentage of long-term care residents who fell in the last 30 days.

Female Long-Term Care Residents

The percentage of residents in the long-term care facility or corporation who are female.

Graft Survival Following Organ Transplant

The probability of a graft surviving at various time points following organ transplantation. Graft failure, retransplantation and patient death are all considered graft failures.

Has a Regular Health Care Provider

This indicator provides the percentage of the population that reported having a regular health care provider, including a family doctor or general practitioner, a medical specialist or a nurse practitioner. Higher percentages are desirable.

Heavy Drinking

Heavy drinking is defined as men who reported consuming 5 or more drinks or women who reported consuming 4 or more drinks on 1 occasion at least once a month in the past year. It is calculated for the population age 12 and older.
